Washi Tape + Scenic Sayings = instant cards

For this week's Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight, I used 2 of brand new goodies from 2016-207 catalogue.

I really like the colour combination of Playful Palette Desinger Washi Tape so I just used all of them in the same order as packaged.

For the sentiment I used Scenic Sayings stamp set. I got this set as my prize patrol at On Stage Local 2016. These stamps are really good size. They fill up the card front.

Especially if the card size is note card one.

It was going to be a really quick and easy card until I decided to use Gold Metallic Thread behind the sentiment. It took me almost half an hour to put the thread on where I wanted and made it stay there until I attached it down. The thread didn't behave very well.

So if you don't need to use the thread, this card takes only 5 minutes to make.

Once I figured out how to put the thread onto the card, I wanted to make another card, using the same materials.  Stamped a heart with Flirty Flamingo ink and punched out with Sweet Heart Punch.

Inkpads: Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo.

SAYONARA-Bordering Blooms

For today's card, I used Bordering Blooms, one of the retiring sets. Did you know 2 stamps in this set coordinate with Flower Patch ?

Don't worry. Flower Patch isn't going anywhere. It stays in the new catalogue.  So I made a card with the perfect pair, Flower Patch and Bordering Blooms.

I created the background paper with Bordering Blooms.

First I stamped a big flower with second generation of Lost Lagoon ink. Then masked the flower.

This is the mask.

I used the off cut piece to decorate inside of the card.

I created this for my Japanese customers originally. The dotted scallop ribbon boarder punch is retired in Australia. I'm really going to miss these colours and cute border stamps.

Thank for stopping by.

Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight with Painter's Palette

You're going to love this new catalogue. Even from the cover of the catalogue, I think you can tell. Do you see the jar die ???  It has a coordinating stamp set !!

I received my PPP, Product Purchase Première order yesterday. These are some of my PPP order.

I really wanted to show you what I got but too many photos and I couldn't describe how fund and exciting they are. So I decided to do it on video. This is my first You Tube in English. I've been making You Tubes for a while for my customers in Japan but never done in English before.

This is the card I made with Painter's Palette stamp set. I got this set because it has a coordinating DSP, Playful Palette. I just love the colours and brush strokes patterns in the stack. I usually don't like green but Emerald Envy in In Color 2016-2018 is exception.

Look at the easel stamp ! So cute. I used a lot of Stampin' Dementionals.

Wink of Stella on a canvas. You know Wink of Stella will be cheaper in a new catalogue. Yeah!

And this is my submission to this week's Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight.

Bye-bye Blackberry Bliss, Hello Flirty Flamingo

Yes, it's almost time to say good-bye to my favourite colours, In Color 2014-2016.
They will be only available until 31 May or while supplies last

I have a lot of memories with these colours. I signed up as a demonstrator in Japan in September, 2014, when Stampin' Up! Japan launched. These colours went trough a lot with me. They look quit oriental to me and I often find similar colours in Kimonos. My mother has practised Japanese traditional dancing for 25 years so she has a lot of Kimonos. I used Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss a lot to scrap my mother's dancing events. So these colours are special to me.

It's sad to see them go but also I'm really excited to welcome new colours as well.

Please meet IN COLOR 2016-2018.

We made this colour chart at On Stage. Isn't it cool?

Dapper Denim

Emerald Envy

Flirty Flamingo

Peekaboo Peach

Sweet Sugarplum

I'm already in love with these new colours. They are so cheerful.Flirty Flaming and Sweet Sugarplum can make a beautiful Kimono patterns. In the new catalogue, there is a new set called, Artistically  Asian. The set has 2 Chinese words and they are exactly same that we use in Japan.

You'd love the new catalogue.

Would you like a copy of new catalogue?  If you don't have a demonstrator and would like to have a copy of new catalogue, I'm happy to send it to you. Please contact me at satomiwellard@gmail.com
